Police investigate 7th Ward murder

NEW ORLEANS – For the second time in less than 24 hours, police are investigating a murder.

The incident happened in the 2300 block of D’Abadie Street in the 7th Ward, where two men were shot. A 48-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.  A 51-year-old man shot was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.

Wednesday, two men were shot and killed in the 1300 block of France Street.
