NEW ORLEANS – Police are investigating the death of a13-year-old boy who lost control of a SUV in the Gentilly Terrace neighborhood Monday night, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Around 9:30 p.m., the boy was driving a dark colored Chevy Trail Blazer northbound on Elysian Fields Avenue when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree at Monterey Street.
He died at the hospital, police said.
The Orleans Parish coroner identified the boy as Tischon Williams.
