NEW ORLEANS - Around 6 a.m. Thursday, an accident closed a portion of Interstate-10 West. The roadway reopened just before 7 a.m.
A car hit a guardrail near the Canal Street exit, which closed the interstate past the Claiborne Flyover split.
One of the cars involved was totaled and a tow truck removed it from the scene.
