A bird at the Labarre station in Metairie caused a power outage that affected about 4,000 customers, according to Entergy.
The outage began around 10:30 and by 11:30 a.m. the amount of customers without power was down to a handful.
The Entergy web site originally showed outages near Metairie Road, on Airline before Clearview and in parts of Jefferson.
The web site estimated it would be about 12:30 p.m. before power was restored to everyone, though most addresses were back with power by 11:30.
