NEW ORLEANS – A teenager was shot and killed in the Uptown area Thursday, according to officials.
The 18-year-old man was sitting in his car with multiple gunshot wounds when police found him in the 5300 block of Constance Street, said New Orleans Police Department spokesman Officer Garry Flot.
Officers were alarmed to the shooting around 2:15 p.m.
Police haven't released any information about a suspect or a motive. They are withholding the victim's name so that the family can be notified.
