COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- A Code Maroon emergency alert was issued on the campus of Texas A&M early Wednesday afternoon, a tweet from the school said.
"Code Maroon Bomb threat investigation at Kyle. Stadium and adjacent bldgs will be closed for remainder of day," read the tweet from @TAMUCodeMaroon at 12:29 p.m.
A later tweet specified which buildings were closed.
"Code Maroon: UPDATE: Bldgs evacuated include Read, GRW, Zone, W Kyle, Bright Athletics and Netum Steed."
The school said updates on the situation would be provided on http://emergency.tamu.edu.
No further information was immediately available.
