NEW ORLEANS – On Saturday night, two armed men entered a gas station at 6300 Elysian Fields Ave. and robbed the registers of approximately $500, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Around 11:05 p.m., the cashier opened two registers after the suspects brandished their guns and demanded money.
After taking the cash, they fled southbound on Elysian Fields and then unknown.
The first suspect is described as a 5’8” black man, weighing about 200 pounds with a heavy build and a brown complexion. He was wearing a red short-sleeved t-shirt with unknown white writing on the front and army camouflage shorts with red, black and white tennis shoes with red shoe laces. He had two black t-shirts covering his face and head. He was a holding a black snub nose revolver in his right hand.
The second suspect is described as a 5’7” black man, weighing about 120 to 130 pounds with a slim build and a light brown complexion. He was wearing a black Dickie jacket with a grey hooded sweatshirt underneath and blue jeans which were cut into shorts and white tennis shoes with white socks. He had a black neck/ear-warmer partially covering his head with a black baseball cap. He was holding a black semi-automatic handgun in his right hand.
