MARRERO, La. - Two men were killed and another man was in critical condition after several bullets were fired into a Nissan Sentra that was parked in front of a home in Marrero Saturday night.
The incident occurred in the 2100 block of Caddy Drive shortly after 8 p.m.
A man behind the wheel of the car was found dead by responding units. A man in the passenger seat, 26-year-old Michael Johnson, was rushed to University Hospital and was in critical condition Saturday night.
A third man was found lying in the front yard of the home. Deputies said a neighbor who is a nurse tried performing CPR, but the victim was deceased.
Officials say the two men who died in the crash are 24-year-old Dwight Hansberry and 23-year-old Terrance Brown.
Investigators said they aren't certain if the bullets came from a passing car or if the shooter or shooters walked up to the car and began firing.
Deputies have neither a suspect or a motive in this shooting.
