NEW ORLEANS -- Police have identified two young men, a 17-year-old and 19-year-old, wanted in connection with a murder in the Iberville Housing Development, according to a statement from the New Orleans Police Department.

Aldred “Al” Dixon, 17, and Demonte “D-man” Carmouche, 19, are wanted by police in connection with the fatal shooting of Terrance Lewis, 19, on the night of July 8, according to NOPD.

Police responding to the scene of the shooting on July 8 found Lewis in the 1400 block of Bienville Street. He had been shot in the stomach.  He was taken to the hospital where he later died, according to police.

"In surveillance video obtained by detectives, Dixon and Carmouche were positively identified as the persons responsible for the fatal shooting and an arrest warrant was obtained for Second Degree Murder," said a statement from the NOPD.

Detectives believe that the shooting stemmed from an ongoing feud between Lewis and Dixon and Carmouche.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or Homicide detective Orlando Matthews at 504-658-5300.
