NEW ORLEANS - Friday is the last day Jonathan Vilma's attorney can file any new briefings or arguments to try and convince a judge to lift the linebacker's season long suspension.
The judge has yet to rule on issuing a temporary restraining order to allow him to practice with the team.
Vilma won't be in federal court on Friday.
The NFL has until Tuesday to respond.
