NEW ORLEANS -- LaToya Cantrell has an 11-point lead over Desiree Charbonnet, but one-fifth of voters say they are undecided about whom they will choose to vote for on Election Day.
Those were among the findings of a new UNO Survey Research Center poll released Monday. The poll was conducted among 602 likely Orleans Parish voters between Nov. 1-8.
The poll also found Cantrell is most popular among African-Americans, women and millennials.
Meanwhile, more than half of voters who cast a ballot for Michael Bagneris plan to vote for Cantrell, who performs slightly better than Charbonnet with white voters, according to the survey.
The survey also found voters who approve of Mayor Mitch Landrieu -- who enjoys a 54 percent approval rating -- support Cantrell in the runoff election set for Nov. 18.
The full poll has a margin of error of plus-minus 4 percent.
