City Council defers vote on short-term rentals, again

NEW ORLEANS -- The City Council announced Tuesday afternoon that the topic of short-term rentals would be pushed back, again.

The council was to take up the issue Thursday, but will now defer until its Oct. 20 meeting.

The deadline for the council to take action is Oct. 24.
