BATON ROUGE -- A teenager faces attempted murder Wednesday after officials said he shot someone several times over not wanting to go to school.
According to The Advocate, witnesses told deputies D'Vonte Green was arguing with another person in the front yard of his home when he pulled out a revolver and shot the victim six times.
The report added Green was stopped shortly after the incident and the gun was found about a block from the crime scene. During an interview with law enforcement, Green admitted to the argument and shooting, authorities said.
