NEW ORLEANS -- Police are investigating a body that was found near the Chef Mentuer exit of Interstate-10, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police have released few details, other than to say the death is currently unclassified.
The body of the 61-year-old New Orleans man was discovered below an overpass, leaving investigators to theorize that he may have fallen or been hit by a vehicle. His vehicle was found abandoned on the road, a short distance from where he fell, according to police.
The coroner is on the scene and will determine the official cause of death.
