JEFFERSON PARISH, La. - The Jefferson Parish Council is meeting Wednesday to discuss future funding for the Crescent City Connection.
Currently, the law calls for the tolls on the CCC to expire at the end of the year.
Councilman Chris Roberts is expected to introduce a resolution requesting that the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development provide information on the state's future plans and monetary support for the bridge and the CCC police.
Keeping the tolls on the bridge would require new legislation be passed by state lawmakers.
