GRAND ISLE, La. - With the storm moving as slow as it is, Grand Isle could be looking at some impact, according to Jefferson Parish Emergency Management officials.

Starting around Sunday afternoon and going through Monday, possibly Tuesday, water levels could rise, with a worst case scenario of a storm surge of 4 feet.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is still uncertain as to whether or not the storm follows the eastward track toward Florida or westward toward Texas.

The NWS is saying that it looks like the westward track is more realistic, but an actual answer could come as early as Sunday from the National Hurricane Center.
