Suspect, victim identified in Metairie homicide

METAIRIE, La. -- Police believe a man from Texas opened fire and killed a man in his Metairie apartment.

According to JPSO, an arrest warrant has been issued for Glen "Pluck" Rogers, 29, from Houston, TX, for second-degree murder.

Police say Rogers fatally shot 31-year-old Irvin Lavour Robinson inside his apartment in the 2600 block of Houma Blvd., just before 5 a.m. Sunday morning.

JPSO said witnesses told investigators that Rogers shot Robinson three times, though investigators have not determined why.
