GOLDEN MEADOW, La. - The Golden Meadow Bridge in Lafourche Parish was shut down for maintenance.
The bridge, which crosses Bayou Lafourche, will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The closure will allow a state highway department contractor to perform electrical work on the bridge.
During that time, the bridge will remain open to boat traffic.
