Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s arrested a third person in connection with a May drive-by shooting that didn’t leave anyone injured, but left a house shot up.
Dominique Beamon, 22, was arrested Monday and charged with assault by drive-by shooting and aggravated criminal damage to property. Two others, 20-year-old Jessie Andre and 17-year-old Daymin Benoit, were arrested last week for their roles.
Sheriff Craig Webre said investigators determined that Beamon was the shooter in the May 15 incident on Primrose Drive.
Webre said an investigation showed that the three involved decided to “shoot up” the house of Benoit’s ex-boyfriend. According to Lafourche Sheriff’s, Beamon fired two shots into the side of the home, though only one bullet penetrated into the house. No one was injured in the shooting.
