HOUMA, La. (AP) -- A man wanted in an October shooting that left two people injured has been arrested in Houma.
Attorney General Buddy Caldwell says 26-year-old Tye Aubert , of Houma, was found Wednesday after an investigation by his Fugitive Apprehension Unit, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office and the Houma Police Department found him trying to hide from authorities at a home in his hometown.
Aubert faces two counts of attempted first-degree murder. He also was wanted on outstanding warrants for domestic abuse battery, aggravated assault and simple criminal damage to property. It was not immediately known whether Aubert had an attorney.
He was booked into the Houma jail.
