Man killed in Terrebonne officer involved shooting identified

TERREBONNE PARISH, LA. - Police have identified a suspect after an officer-involved shooting in Terrebonne Parish Friday.

According to Louisiana State Police, the shooting happened before 4:30 p.m. on Fandall Street in Gibson, Louisiana. Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a home over a domestic dispute.

Deputies arriving at the scene learned that 55-year-old Terry A Dubois Jr. was armed and barricaded inside a home.

“At some point during the incident, the suspect was shot by deputies and died on the scene,” Trooper Jesse LaGrange said. “No deputies were injured during this incident.”

LSP released Dubois identity Monday morning.

State Police say the investigation into the shooting remains active and no further information is available at this time.
