ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. - A Baton Rouge judge ordered the St. Tammany Parish Coroner's Office to turn over e-mails requested by the Legislative Auditor's Office.
Questionable e-mails will be reviewed by the judge first.
The legislative auditor investigating Dr. Peter Galvan for misusing taxpayer money wanted him to hand over the e-mails.
But Galvan sued to prevent the emails from being released. He said they were protected.
Galvan is accused of misspending money, including questionable use of credit cards, excessive salaries he set for himself and possible misuse of vehicles and property.
