PONCHATOULA, La. -- The Louisiana State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash on La. 22 near milepost 53 in Tangipahoa Parish that left one man dead Wednesday.

According to State Police, 44-year-old Dustin Tall was driving a 2010 Buick La Crossed eastbound on La. 22 when for reasons unknown at this time, he drifted off of the right side of the road, hit a driveway embankment, and became airborne. The Buick flipped several times and came to rest on its side in the southbound lane of La. 22.

Tallo, the only person in the vehicle, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected during the crash. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
