HAMMOND, La. – After new evidence was revealed, the wife of a man killed in 2008 was arrested for her involvement in his murder, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Brooklyn “Becc” Huber-Brown, 34, was taken into custody Tuesday morning and charged with the second degree murder of Christopher Slater Brown, who was 28 when he was killed.

Brown was fatally shot while sleeping his bed at his Kentwood home, according to TPSO.

Aubrey Williams Sikes, 23, is currently serving a life sentence after being charged and convicted with Brown’s murder.
