Deputies find $90,000 worth of meth at Slidell home

SLIDELL, LA. - A Slidell area man has been arrested after deputies say they found $90,000 worth of methamphetamine at his home.

According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, detectives discovered nearly two pounds of meth, numerous dosages of prescription medication, marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia at a home on Ash Drive.

Deputies booked Steven Zoerner into the St. Tammany Parish Jail on several drug possession charges. Those charges include:

 

L.R.S. 40:967F.2(C) Possession of more than 400 grams of Methamphetamine

L.R.S. 40:967C Possession of a Schedule II CDS

L.R.S. 40:1060.13 Possession of a Legend Drug (three counts)

L.R.S. 40:966E Possession of Schedule I CDS

L.R.S. 40:1023 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 

The STPSO Narcotics Task Force was responsible for the arrest. The task force includes detectives from STPSO, Mandeville Police Department, Covington Police Department and Slidell Police Department.
