ROSELAND, La. -- Law enforcement is asking for the public's help in a fatal shooting that happened last month.
The incident occurred on Faith Street in the city of Roseland around 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 29.
21-year-old Kevin Griffin from Hammond died in the incident.
Griffin, as well as 25-year-old Devante Perry were both struck by gunshots by an unknown shooter, who entered the area in a small white car, which police said could be a Mitsubishi.
The shooter is described as a light-skinned black male with tattoos on his arm. Police said the shooter left his vehicle and aimed directly at Griffin.
Perry is said to be in good and stable condition.
The motive is still under investigation at this time.
