Westbound traffic on Poydras Street has been reopened.

UPDATE (5:48 a.m.): NOPD has confirmed that there is a fourth victim, an adult male shot in both legs.

Westbound traffic is blocked on Poydras from S. Claiborne Ave. to Galvez Street at this time.

Police received a call around 2:30 this morning about a shooting.

Witnesses standing outside a nearby club say they saw two cars speeding at the intersection of South Roman and Perdido--they say the people in both cars were shooting at each other.

The chase ended when one car crashed at the intersection of Poydras and Bolivar, near the Superdome.

NOPD has confirmed that three, possibly four, males have been shot and taken to University Hospital. A 16-year-old male was shot in the buttocks, a man was shot in the cheek, and another man was shot in the stomach. There may be a fourth man who was shot, but that has not been confirmed.

Police are currently at the scene investigating. At this time, they do not have a suspect or a motive. However, we did see police make an arrest since we've been at the scene.

We will continue following this story as it develops.
