NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans City Council is taking up a number of big issues Thursday, including one that could have a big impact on area bars.
The council is considering changing how old a person must be to get into a bar.
Currently, patrons must be 18 years old to enter.
City leaders are debating raising the entry age to the legal drinking age of 21.
