NEW ORLEANS – A cab driver was fatally shot in the Hollygrove neighborhood, which investigators believe to be related to a robbery, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Shortly after 9 p.m., officers found Joseph Wilfred, 56, shot to death inside his Star Cab.
The vehicle had stalled near the corner of Hollygrove Street and South Claiborne Avenue, where it had struck a construction barrier.
