NEW ORLEANS - Residents could soon have a better way to track blighted properties around New Orleans.
The city is working with a team from the nonprofit group, "Code for America," to create a web based project for citizens to report and track complaints to the city.
For the rest of the month, the team is interviewing neighborhood leaders to understand what kind of tools would be most helpful.
"Code for America" will layout its plan during a blight stat meeting at city hall Thursday.
