NEW ORLEANS - I-610 West was reopened around 1 p.m. Friday after about a three-hour closure when a dump truck knocked down an exit sign near the Canal Blvd. exit.
Traffic had to be diverted off the west bound I-610 to Paris Avenue.
The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. as it appeared that the dump truck was raised and was too high to get under the sign.
No injuries were reported.
