NEW ORLEANS - A man has died from injuries sustained in a shooting Thursday in the 7th Ward, according to officials with the New Orleans Police Department.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Roman, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police haven't identified the victim, but NOPD spokesman Officer Frank Robertson said he is 18 years old. He died while in the hospital around 1:30 p.m., Robertson said.
There hasn't been any information released on a possible suspect or a motive.
