NEW ORLEANS - A man was shot twice in the body after getting into an argument with another individual on Sunday night, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The shooting occurred shortly after 11 p.m. in the 4200 block of America Street.
When officers arrived on scene, the man was talking and alert and was transported to the hospital, the NOPD said.
On Monday morning, he was in stable condition at the hospital.
The case is under investigation.
