NEW ORLEANS – Around 11 p.m. Tuesday, a man on a motorcycle was killed after a collision with a car, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
A 28-year-old man was traveling westbound on South Claiborne Avenue in a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero when he collided with a 27-year-old man traveling northbound on Tulane Avenue on a Kawasaki motorcycle.
The 27-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene.
The 28-year-old was not injured, police said.
The Orleans Parish Coroner is conducting an autopsy to determine the exact cause of deal.
No citations were issued and the accident remains under investigation, according to the NOPD.
