NEW ORLEANS - A two-alarm blaze early Friday morning started when foliage caught fire on the outside of an abandoned building, according to the New Orleans Fire Department.
Around 1:30 a.m., fire fighters were called to the scene in the 2100 block of Tulane Avenue.
The fire began to burn the inside of the structure, but officials were able to quickly put out the flames.
There is no word on what may have started the fire.
