NEW ORLEANS, La. – Residents and businesses in a section of the uptown area near the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority Jefferson Avenue Canal Project will experience low water pressure most of Wednesday.

The low water pressure is expected to last from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. while crews working for the Corps of Engineers and the Sewerage and Water Board tie in a water line that serves the area.

The area includes St. Charles Avenue to Bordeaux Street, to Dryades Street, to Jefferson Avenue, and back to St. Charles Avenue.
