Officers on patrol have called and reported the following streets to have high water or being impassable along with trees and poles down.
- Argonne at Robert E Lee
- Hwy 11 is impassible
- 1600 block of Lesseps
- Murl at Vespasian
- Pressburg between Paris and St Bernard
- 1100 block of St Andrew
- Painters at North Rocheblave
- Venetian Isle
- South Claiborne between State and Palmer Streets
- 7200 block of Lakeshore Drive.
Trees are reported down in Algiers in the 200 Alix Street and in the 3600 Memorial Park Drive.
One electric pole has been reported down at Chartres and St Ferdinand Streets.
Superintendent Ronal Serpas wants to remind drivers they will be ticketed and fined no less than $200 plus court fess if they choose to violate the city ordinance and drive down a flooded street going faster than 5-Miles Per Hour.
