NOPD searching for missing teen last seen in Algiers

UPDATE: Latoya Honeycutt II returned home and is in good health according to NOPD.

NEW ORLEANS -- Police are searching for a missing teenage girl last seen leaving her home in Algiers.

According to NOPD, 16-year-old Latoya Honeycutt II was last seen leaving her home in the 2900 block of Preston Place around 5 p.m. on Oct. 6. Her mother told police that one of Latoya's siblings said she left on a bike with a female friend named Arianne and an unknown male.

Honeycutt does not have a cell phone, according to NOPD, so the mother does not have any way to contact her.

Latoya Honeycutt II is described as a black female, around 5'7" tall and weighing about 110 pounds with a slim build. She has a brown complexion with brown eyes and black hair in long braids.

If you have any information about Latoya Honeycutt II's location, please contact the Fourth District Detectives unit at 504-658-6040.
