Woman carjacked in Gert Town after getting rear-ended by suspects

NEW ORLEANS – Police are looking for four women suspected in the carjacking of a woman in Gert Town. 

Around 3 p.m. on Oct. 7, a woman told the New Orleans Police Department she was rear-ended in a parking lot in the 3600 block of Pine Street, police said.

The woman told police a red, four-door vehicle occupied by four females hit her Honda Civic. "When she got out of her vehicle to check for damage, a passenger from the red vehicle ran past the victim, got into her Honda and fled south on Pine Street. The perpetrator is described as a black female wearing a baseball cap, brown shirt and black pants," police said.

The stolen vehicle is is a brown 2014 Honda Civic with Louisiana license plate #YYJ029.
