Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser says that he will order an evacuation of the east bank of Plaquemines Parish Monday and a voluntary evacuation for parts of the west bank.
He said a shelter would open at Belle Chasse High.
Nungesser also said the following schools would be closed: Phoenix High School, South Plaquemines High and Elementary and Boothville.
