BRAITHWAITE, La. – Deputies are searching for four looting suspects who hit the Braithwaite area after Hurricane Isaac, according to the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office.

On September 21, investigators began looking into several looting incidents that occurred between September 20 and September 21 in the 5500 block of Highway 39.

Witnesses identified Nancy Elizabeth Herleikson, 25, of 2212 Delille St. in Chalmette, as a suspect, deputies said.

The other suspects were described as two white men and one white woman.

Property that was stolen includes air condition units, batteries from four-wheelers, batteries from lawn tractors, clothing, dishes and an outboard boat motor.

The suspects were seen fleeing in a maroon pick-up truck and a gray pick-up truck.

An arrest warrant charging Herleikson with looting was obtained.

Anyone with information on her or any of the other three suspects is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
