CHALMETTE, La. - A 23-year-old died Sunday afternoon after flipping an ATV in Chalmette, according to St. Bernard Sheriff's Office.
Just after 3 p.m., Kendrick Hills was riding in the street without a helmet in the 3600 block of Pakenham Drive.
He flipped the ATV and struck a stop sign, according to deputies.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, deputies said.
