St. Bernard Parish will give out sandbags to parish residents or business from noon to 6 p.m. Monday at the rear of the Port of St. Bernard in Chalmette.
St. Tammany Parish will open five sandbag stations at the following locations from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. until noon Tuesday:
- Covington Barn, 1305 N. Florida St., Covington
- Keller Barn, 63131 Fish Hatchery Rd., Lacombe
- Koop Drive, 21411 Koop Drive, Mandeville (under Tammany Trace water tower)
- Airport Road Barn, 34783 Grantham College Rd., Slidell
- Fritchie Barn, 63119 Hwy 1090, Pearl River
St. John Parish will have sand bags available at different locations for different times. Residents are asked to bring their own shovel to fill their bags.
- Sand bags available at 6 p.m. Sunday: Fire Station #65 located at 337 Central Avenue in Reserve; Fire Station #71 at 418 Historic West St. in Garyville
- Sand bags available Monday at 10 a.m.: Fire Station #53 at 1703 St. Andrews Blvd. in LaPlace; Fire Station #94 at 1200 Hwy. 643 in Pleasure Bend; and on the West Bank at the old Second Ward High School at 3671 Highway 18 in Edgard.
Terrebonne Parish made the following sites open to pick up sand bags starting Sunday night:
- Point Au Chene Fire Station
- Montegut Fire Station
- Ward 7 Center
- St. Anne Church
- Grand Caillou Fire Station
- Adult Softball Complex/Airbase
Tangipahoa Parish will begin sandbag distribution Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. at both of the parish road and bridge facilities in Hammond at 44512 West Pleasant Ridge Road and in Roseland at 63101 Commercial Street. Residents may get up to 25 sand bags per residence.
