LAPLACE, La. - LaPlace Elementary School is closed Friday due to a large water main break in front of the school.
Students and faculty should not report to school.
Custodians should report to the Maintenance Shop at their regularly scheduled time.
The closure also affects the fifth grade students and fifth grade teachers from Lake Pontchartrain Elementary who are being housed at LES.
All other schools are open.
