LAPLACE, La. -- A third person is in jail after deputies said he was part of a botched robbery that left one man dead in February.
Authorities say 21-year-old Malcolm Muse, a New Orleans resident, was arrested Nov. 9 in Beaumont, Texas by U.S. Marshals.
Investigators said they've connected Muse to the death of 29-year-old Andrew Jasmine, who was killed Feb. 15 around 8:30 a.m. Deputies said they found Jasmine in the 20000 block of East Frisco Drive in Laplace with multiple gunshot wounds. They added Jasmine's home had also been ransacked.
Two other men have been arrested in connection with the murder; Ahkemon Bardell Jr. 21, and Branden Blegg, 22.
Muses' bond has been set at $850,000.
