BATON ROUGE - The second NCAA postseason game between LSU and Mississippi State is about to start on ESPN2. In the only previous postseason meeting, the Tigers beat the Bulldogs, 10-8, in the College World Series in 1998.

Mississippi State leads the all-time series, 203-182-1, but the Tigers swept a three-game series last month in Starkville, Mississippi, to win the Southeastern Conference West and overall regular season title.
