METAIRIE, La. – A Jefferson Parish correctional officer faces theft charges after admitting to taking money from the intake booking area, said JPSO spokesman Col. John Fortunato.

The Sheriff’s Office fired Cecelia Mani, a 41-year-old Metairie resident, and booked her with one count of theft Thursday, Fortunato said.

Fortunato said Mani admitted to taking $60 in bond money in the intake booking area.

Mani has served as a correction officer since November 2000.

Yeah she is dumb. I would say she must be a blonde but that would be an insult to blondes everywhere! How desperate can you be? It's people like that , that gives officers a bad name regardless if they are honest hard working ones!
