Mississippi woman set on fire, manhunt on for 'boyfriend'

PICAYUNE, Ms - Authorities are looking for a man they say set his girlfriend on fire.

Stacy Mitchell Frank, 46, was found just after 11 p.m. Wednesday on Mississippi 11 in Pearl River County. She had been doused with gasoline, set on fire, and left by the road, according to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.

Jerry Glenn Willis, 43, is wanted for domestic aggravated assault and kidnapping in the incident.

Frank was transported to a local hospital for treatment and then taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Both Willis, who is a known member of the Simon City Royals street gang, and Frank list 130 George Mitchell Road, Picayune, as their home address. The suspect may be traveling in the victim’s black 2014 Nissan Rogue SUV.

If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Willis, call 911. Authorities ask that you not attempt to approach or interact with Willis, who is considered dangerous.
