WASHINGTON (AP) — In a story June 27 detailing the provisions of a compromise highway and transit bill, The Associated Press reported erroneously that a requirement that commercial trucks have a device that records hours drivers spend behind the wheel had been dropped. The provision was not dropped, but retained in the legislation.
