ALBANY, La. (AP) — A 74-year-old Hammond man was killed after he lost control of his pickup while exiting Interstate 12 at Albany and struck a ditch.
State police say Bruce Beever, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected from his pickup around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
Trooper Russell Graham says Beever was pronounced dead at the scene by the Livingston Parish Coroner's Office.
